S-Factor Academy Rebrands

One of South East London and Kent’s favourite community amateur sports clubs, S-Factor Academy, unveils its new website as part of its rebrand to celebrate its six years.

Its website, which features online membership application forms, information to gain employment and work experience, and an e-commerce store amongst other things, says it is more than just an “athletics club”.

S-Factor Academy Athletes Celebrate Top A-Level Results

LONDON (19/08/2016) – Physical activity does indeed boost academic performance as seen by S-Factor Academy’s Abimbola Ojemakinde and Kimani Smart’s recent A-Level results.

Both athletes achieved top marks in their grades and are off to their higher education place of choice, Loughborough and Brunel University respectively, after this summer.

“I am pleased to have been accepted to study History and International Relations in Loughborough University,” Miss Ojemakinde said upon receiving her results.

Sporteducate Sweeps Up at the 2016 Corporate Engagement Awards and National CSR Awards

30th June 2016 – The Sporteducate Programme, a partnership between leading sports charity Sported, Deutsche Bank and 33 sports clubs in London, of which S-Factor Academy is one, has won three awards at the Corporate Engagement Awards and National CSR Awards recently.

The awards won were:

  • Gold for the “Best Sports and Leisure Programme” in the “type” category of the Corporate Engagement Awards
  • Bronze for the “Best Community Involvement During a CSR Programme” in the “corporate social responsibility” category of the Corporate Engagement Awards
  • Highly Commended for the “Best Partnership in the Community” in the corporate social responsibility category of the National CSR Awards



Day 1 – Kent Championships report Having only recently moved up from the U15 to U17 age group, Mahmood Khaisto did not allow being the youngest of his age group to affect his 400m winning streak. In the 400m heats, Khaisto ran a blistering 300m’s before shutting it down with 100m to go, winning in a Seasons Best (SB) of 52.10sec.

Our New Logo

To celebrate its six years, S-Factor Academy unveils its new logo today.

The new logo draws attention to its athletics roots by incorporating the original celebratory “running man”.  Connected to the “running man” is a large “S” which symbolises the athletes’ unique “S-Factor”.

The logo retains its club colours black and yellow,

S-Factor Athletics Club Presented with Clubmark

S-Factor AC a South London Athletics club were Presented Clubmark on Wednesday 10th February 2016 and their track at Ladywell Arena.

Julia Bailey, England Athletics Club and Coach Support Officer for South London was at hand to present the certificate to Welfare Officer Steph Hanson and athletes of S Factor AC.

Kent Cross Country League meeting

We had three athletes running for S-Factor at the Kent Cross Country League meeting at Danson Park on Saturday 28 Nov ’15.


U13 Boys Race 

Luke Abrams came 32nd and Stefano Bertero came 44th

U17 Race 

Alan Taylor came 24th

These were highly competitive races and they all did well against steep competition from clubs from Tonbridge,

Autumn 2015 – Summer 2016

Please note session times for training will take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays during school term time only. Extra training for athletes who wish to compete may be provided during holiday time on a Tuesday and Thursday. Each term will be in accordance to Lewisham Borough schools.
