Let’s give a round of applause to Coach Mensah who this year won the 110mH British Master’s Championships along with silver in the 100m. Mensah, who has just returned from the World Master’s Championships in Malaga, also set a new World Record this year competing in the 4x 100m relay with the GB Masters Team. This dream team comprising (in order) Jason Carty, Dominic Bradley, Mensah Elliott and Dwain Chambers, ran the relay in just 42.17s!

An outstanding competition season!

Coach Mensah, who takes the time to coach our senior athletes in sprint hurdles every Saturday, is ranked World No. 1 for the 60mH and Great Britain No. 1 for the 110mH and World No.2 for the 110mH – all in the Master’s Division.

For the 60m sprint – he ranks GB #2 and in the100m GB #3. These are incredible achievements! 

We support him in his quest to raise the profile of Master’s athletics. A perfect example that with talent, focus and determination – you should never give up!
