Julia Bailey, England Athletics Club and Coach Support Officer for South London was at hand to present the certificate to Welfare Officer Steph Hanson and athletes of S Factor AC.

Steph said “We’re delighted withthe renewal of S Factor AC’s Clubmark, and proud we can demonstrate that S Factor has maintained the highest standards in club management and in the training our expert coaches provide to our young athletes. This renewal process has encouraged us to review our processes to ensure we have the right checks and procedures in place and we’ll regularly monitor these as the Club continues to develop.  Special thanks to Julia at England Athletics and to all our hard working volunteers in pulling together to make this happen!

Julia Bailey said, “It is a pleasure to present the award to S Factor AC, it is brilliant that they have been able to achieve this accreditation. This has enabled the club to ensure their structure and practices meet the needs of their members. I hope that they continue to build on the great work that they do and grow as a successful club”.

The Clubmark scheme is the only national cross sports quality accreditation scheme for clubs with junior sections.  It is built around a set of core criteria which ensure that accredited clubs operate to a set of consistent, accepted and adopted minimum operating standards.
