Our superstars 🌟

While all our athletes are superstars, a special mention goes to:

🥇 Phoenix for ranking Number 1 for a Gold Medal in the Year 3 Boys group and winning in all 3 of his 60m, 200m and Long Jump events!

🥈 Jeremiah W for ranking Number 13 for a Silver Medal in the Year 4 & 5 Boys group and achieving a massive PB in his 200m race!

🥇 Charlotte for ranking Number 2 for a Gold Medal in the Year 4 & 5 Girls group and winning in the 60m Hurdles!

🥇Anna for ranking Number 4 for a Gold Medal in the Year 4 & 5 Girls group and coming 3rd in the 60m Hurdles.

🥈 Keyandra for ranking Number 15 for a Silver Medal in the Year 4 & 5 Girls group.

🥉 Bronze medals are awarded to all children for taking part, regardless of their positions to recognise their amazing efforts and PBs! We love that!

Our Year 3 - Year 7 junior athletes LOVE taking pa

Our Year 3 - Year 7 junior athletes LOVE taking part in the annual MiniThon.

It’s like a mini Olympics where they have the chance to take part in various sprints, hurdles and throw competitions on the same track as some of the world’s greatest athletes.

They competed at their best, achieved some great wins and PB’s and most of all had lots of fun!

This is the first of 3 MiniThon events and we can’t wait for the next one on 7th December!

The @gllsportfoundation Award is an athlete suppor

The @gllsportfoundation Award is an athlete support programme for talented athletes across the UK. The objective is to reduce the financial burden of training and competition costs, giving young athletes more of an opportunity to reach their potential. Benefits include access to athletic tracks, gyms, swimming pools and more.

S-Factor is passionate about enhancing the lives of our young people in our community and encourage our athletes to apply for the award as it can help our talented young people to strive for national and even international sporting success.

We were proud to watch Ka’Liyah, Cheryl, Jevanne and Esme be presented with their awards and we were inspired to hear how Jade Johnson (GSF Ambassador, Commonwealth and European Silver Medalist), share how she got into athletics.

Applications for 2025 will open in December 2024.
